I am a fully qualified and certified life & business coach, registered with the Life Coach Directory - and the only person to have gained this certification in the UK.
By this I mean I trained with Dr John Gray, author of the biggest relationship book of all time: Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.

I’ve always been fascinated by human interactions despite being originally trained as a Business Analyst after following what others recommended as a ‘sensible degree’ in Information Systems Analysis. Even though I achieved a 1:1 result in my degree, after some time trying to do the sensible thing, I still felt drawn more drawn to humans over computers.
But it was Dr. John Gray's book, "Mars & Venus on a Date", that was the beginning of my relationship discovery journey. I first came across it in when I started dating a particularly wonderful, but equally alien ‘Martian’ male... I’d often find myself despairing at the differences between us, at times thinking the relationship must surely be doomed... This was until a dear friend lent me her copy of the book; which was instantly such a huge comfort to me.
I’ll be honest with you here; when I first read John Gray's first book in my very early twenties, I got annoyed as I felt that it was asking women to accept unacceptable behaviour from men. A decade later I found myself reading this book and gasping as I read the conversations me and my beloved had been having - written out on these pages - almost word-for-word!! It made me realise that men truly are wired differently from women; and what a relief it was to know that the power to change these relationship hiccups lay in my hands! That was almost three years ago and I’m pleased to say that nowadays all my relationships are much happier and calmer as a result!
But that book piqued my curiosity, and was a "light bulb" moment for me. It finally made sense that men and women are different in all ways, not just physically, and more importantly; not that one is better than the other, just different. Thus, as you might imagine, when the opportunity arose for me to be trained personally by Dr. John Gray in the US, and be the first to carry the Mars Venus Coaching flag over here to the UK, I was pretty excited!
Of course to get a true understanding of the opposite sex, we must first learn about communication. This process helped me enormously as a coach. I have learned to listen well and ask pertinent questions... My curious nature about you and your relationships make me love my business, and when you love what you do, you do it well.
And I do love what I do! Since returning from the US and working with clients, the results I’ve witnessed have been amazing (see some of the many lovely testimonials dotted around this site that I get).
I'm very passionate about sharing the Mars Venus love... I do one-to-one personal coaching as well as professional group coaching and workshops that helps us all develop a better understanding of those annoying differences between Martians and Venusians that we all recognise, but rarely dare to speak of for fear of being non P.C. Once we have a solid understanding of that, then we can start to build on all our relationships, in a way that is humorous, understanding and understandable.
